How do I get started?
It’s simple, just click on the Register button and follow the steps, choose which package you would like to purchase and fill in your payment details. Once your payment details have been filled in and verified you will receive an email confirming your registration and you will then have access to the dashboard.
Can I book demo of the site?
Yes, we have live demos of the site every Monday (08:30 or 16:00), Wednesday (08:30 or 15:00) and Friday (08:30 or 15:00). The demo usually lasts 15-20 minutes. If you’d like to arrange a demo of the site please email firstname.lastname@example.org
Can I arrange to trial the site before signing up to a package?
Yes, you can trial the site for free for 24 hours. If you would like to see how the site works please send a trial request to email@example.com
What is the dashboard?
Log in to your dashboard to view and create your campaigns. It will show you what you need to do and when precisely you need to do it. This is where you can create your press releases and build media lists by searching through our extensive database. You can also schedule your social media posts and have a look at how your campaigns are doing in the reporting tab. The media centre is where you can house all your company’s collateral, including press releases, images, video content and company biographies etc. Additionally, should you need a helping hand from our PR professionals, the handy dial on the right-hand side is where you can schedule in some consultancy time via phone or email.
How much time do I have to spend on PR IN BOX each week?
That’s up to you, ideally as much as you can. The more time you put in, the more you'll get out of it. To start with, we suggest putting aside a couple of hours per week. Other members of your team can also access the site if you want to spread the responsibility.
Do press releases get sent via a PR in a Box email or through our own email address?
Press releases are sent using our Mail Merge technology by using your own email server, meaning, all emails will come from your email address and all responses from the press will appear in your inbox.
Can PR in a Box guarantee a certain number of pieces of press coverage per month?
Whilst we can't guarantee coverage levels, the highly experienced PR in a Box team will work with you to craft a message that will be as press-worthy as possible to achieve maximum media exposure. Check our blog for helpful tips on how to generate press coverage.
Can PR in a Box provide journalist contact details?
Yes, our technology allows you to search for journalists in every industry sector across the globe.
Is PR in a Box restricted to certain industries or countries?
No, the world is your oyster! Our powerful search technology allows you to find people in all industries worldwide. So, provided they have an online presence, we can help you find them and start communicating.
Can I only search for journalists?
No, you can search for any and all jobs titles, which means our service can be used as a sales funnel as well as for press or social media.
Can I import my own contacts?
Yes, you can import your contact list to the system and use it to speak to journalists, create e-marketing campaigns and send out special offers, etc.
Can someone advise me what to say in my press releases?
Yes, no problem. Depending on the Box you’ve bought, you will either have pay-as-you-go support or an assigned support time. You can use that time however you wish: from proofreading and copywriting, strategy and partnerships, social media campaigns or press releases… Just tell us what you need and we’ll help you achieve it.
How experienced is the PR in a Box team?
We all have at least 10 years’ experience in PR and Marketing. Many of us have considerably more. Our company policy stipulates that all PR in a Box consultants have at least 5 years of PR or Marketing experience.
Can PR in a Box provide me with a ready-made media list?
With our new pay-as-you-go service we can provide media lists for a range of different industries.
What is the training part of the website?
We’re constantly developing videos and ‘how to' guides to help users become more confident in promoting their businesses. We’re also launching free workshops and webinars that cover a variety of subjects, from writing a press release, to creating a communications strategy.
Is PR in a Box easy to use?
Yes, it’s a piece of cake! The website takes you through the initial steps to ensure you are up and running as quickly as possible. We also offer a free start-up call to all our new users with one of our consultants.
Is there a minimum amount of time that I must sign up for?

Yes, you can either choose ‘pay-as-you-go’ or our ‘enterprise’ package that can be customised especially for you. Just ask the team for more information.
